Concerts

The choir sings a wide range of music, varying from large choral works to traditional, popular and spiritual music. Three concerts are usually performed each year, including a Summer Concert and a Christmas Concert. As well as our popular Come & Sing events! These performances are a wide mix of classical pieces and other works, usually following a theme. More information on previous concerts is contained on the Gallery page.

The first Pentland Singers performance of 2026 takes place Sunday evening 15th March at St Giles Cathedral as part of its free concert series “St Giles’ at 6pm”. It would be lovely if you felt able to come and join our audience.
Although free, it is possible to book tickets and you can do so via our entry on St Giles webpages  St Giles’ at Six: Pentland Singers, or just turn up on the day.
The programme includes Mozart’s Lacrimosa and Coleman’s The Rhythm of Life. There are also other hum-along (sotto voce!) pieces such as Moon River and Scarborough Fair, as well as arrangements of the Irish Blessing, The Lord is my Shepherd and the Londonderry Air and some lovely pieces written by Black composers whilst not forgetting John Rutter!
All of this in just one hour on an early Sunday evening.
Hope you feel able to come along!
