The choir sings a wide range of music, varying from large choral works to traditional, popular and spiritual music. Three concerts are usually performed each year, one summer, one for the Balerno Music Festival and one for Christmas. As well as our popular Come & Sing events! These performances are a mix of classical pieces and other works, usually following a theme. More information on previous concerts is contained on the Gallery page.
Summer Concert 2025
Join the Pentland Singers and Pentland Junior Singers at one of our two June concerts which will feature music composed or arranged by black composers including “Hiawatha’s wedding”, arrangements of spirituals and two more recent pieces from Stevie Wonder and Laura Mvula. Light refreshments afterwards.
7.30pm @ Balerno Community High School, Balerno, EH14 7AQ
A fun singing event for those aged ages 8-14. Lots of games, rhythm work and easy group singing. The session includes a break with juice and a snack and parents and carers are invited back at 3.45pm for a short performance.
